At Alter Albion, our ceremonies are called many things.
Elopements, micro-weddings, legals only, Registry Office wedding, or even just a simple wedding for those who want an intimate, intentional way to get married, whatever you want, they all have one thing in common. They are simple, easy, yet special.
We believe the focus is on the connection between you, your partner, and up to 50 guests, rather than a large guest list or traditional expectations.
Our dressed space, with lush green plants, timber flooring, high ceilings, natural light, and lots and lots of charm, is perfect for super-easy weddings.
For those wanting to continue their celebrations post their ceremony, we are co-located with Herve’s who have a number of packages available, from casual drinks in their bar, through to plated three course meals for up to 250 guests. Please see more about Herve’s incredible packages here
Elopements
Eloping means different things to different people.
At Alter Albion, we offer beautifully curated elopement weddings in Brisbane, combining the simplicity of a registry-style ceremony with the warmth and elegance of a private venue. Located within the historic Craft’d Grounds in Albion, Alter Albion is designed for couples who want a meaningful, stress-free wedding experience without compromise.
If you want your elopement to be just you and your partner, we can provide witnesses for an extra cost if you want to keep things really secret.
Micro-Wedding
Micro-weddings are sometimes interchangeable with how people envisage an elopement. However, we describe them as weddings which have less than 50 guests.
Often micro-weddings are followed by some kind of celebration – cocktail reception, sit-down function, drinks with lunch or dinner – and if you decide to do this, Herve’s Restaurant and Bar have packages from La Petite (drinks and canapes in their bar), private dining, cocktail or sit-down receptions, or even a proper old school party, if that’s more you thing.
Legals Only
A legals-only wedding is a simple, meaningful ceremony focused purely on the legal requirements of marriage – no long formalities, no large guest lists, and no unnecessary extras. It’s the perfect option for couples who want to be legally married in a beautiful setting, without the time, cost, or pressure of a traditional wedding day.

Registry Office Wedding
Alter Albion’s weddings are as simple as a Registry Office Wedding. However, our location and our beautiful premises makes us just that little bit extra special.
Our process is just as easy as a registry office, but with our experienced celebrants delivering a more meaningful ceremony, it’s the perfect option for couples who the ease of a registry office, but with a bit more ‘special’.
Affordable Yet Chic
At only $995 (Mon-Thur) to $1095 (Fri-Sun) for a wedding, Alter Albion offers a much needed alternative for those who want the ease of the registry office, but with something that little bit special.
