Our head honcho Celebrant, Roxy Hotten, has developed a standard ceremony which includes some laughs, some depth, and loads of feels. Be prepared for something simple, sweet, yet meaningful, and with no cliches.

Alter Albion is located within Craft’d Grounds, a beautifully renovated 100+ year old mill, which won:

Craft’d Grounds is a precinct of restaurants, bars, bakery, brewer, coffee roaster, coffee shop, and us! Think industrial chic meets warmth. Vintage touches, with lush greenery. Soft candles and glimpses of gold and blush pink. Plus we have an incredible laneway with a stunning mural by the artist Aurora Campbell and multiple spaces for photos post-ceremony on site.
Our experienced staff make it easy
Alter Albion is owned by Roxy Hotten, a super-experienced Celebrant who has worked in the wedding industry since 2011.

Our weddings are affordable
At Alter Albion, we’re proof that weddings don’t have to cost a fortune to have something truly special. Like a registry office wedding, we’re affordable. Our ceremonies include our space, a Celebrant, 20 chairs (plus standing for a further 30 guests), signing table, decor, all paperwork, and it only costs $995 for a Mon-Thur wedding ($1095 for other days).
We have eating and drinking options on site
Within Craft’d Grounds, our neighbours include places like Drift Lager Bar and Cellar, Herves Restaurant and Bar, Sprout, Collingwood Black: basically we have options to continue your celebrations post-ceremony so you won’t even need to leave our premises.
Our space photographs beautifully
Once you’ve had your ceremony with Alter Albion, you may want to stay to have some photos, and we’re totally AOK with that.
Our home is within Craft’d Grounds, and it’s a sight to behold, with laneways, greenery, spaces everywhere to have photos.
We also have a list of recommended photographers who have specifically developed packages for Alter Albion couples that are affordable yet beautiful.
